A second Sonic Riders?

January 27, 2008

Yes, there is going to be a sequel to Sonic Riders. This time it’s on the Nintendo Wii. I wasn’t too fond of Sonic Riders, but hopefully the sequel, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, will be much better. I’m not saying Sonic Riders was a bad game, I just didn’t like it. I found it hard in the beginning (Beat it though. 8) ), and the fact that Sonic rides a board rather than runs, is kind of weird. The fact that Sonic’s on a board won’t change, but hopefully the learning curve isn’t so vertical, making it easier to learn. Graphic wise though, it looks alot different, and cooler. Seeing how now, they are in space.
You can now switch vehicles between hover boards, motorcylces, and futuristic hover crafts. You can also upgrade your vehicles. So, it seems better, and hopefully it is.

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity has been out since January 8th, 2008 in the US.  Read more about it here.

Super Mario Galaxy – Luigi

January 26, 2008

First off, I haven’t been making blog posts lately. Mainly because I’ve been busy and I have been running out of ideas. :(

Back on subject, I decided to make this post about Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy. But first, I have to talk about Super Mario Galaxy, for those that don’t know. SMG (Super Mario Galaxy) is like most Mario games, you are Mario and you must rescue Princess Peach. This time, Mario’s on the Wii with a whole new adventure.
Mario is now in space traveling from planet to planet trying to rescue the Grand Stars to power the space station, so you can travel to the center of the universe to fight Bowser. But, you also collect regular stars. The more stars you have, the more Galaxies you can go to. The more Grand Stars, the more Observatories you can go to. Each Observatory allows you to view and go to different galaxies. You can beat Galaxy with 60 stars. But, if you want to truely beat the game, get ready to achieve all 120 stars.

Once you get 120 stars, go back and fight Bowser in the center of the Universe. A new ending will show, and guess what – Luigi is now a playable character. Luigi has to get 120 stars as well, so that should be fun. It’s the same exact stars as Mario, but the difficulty has changed. For example, the Cosmic Luigi, is harder/smarter than Cosmic Mario. But, why should you get the 120 stars again? Well first, Luigi is cool. But more importantly, you have to if you want to beat the game 100%. Once you get 120 stars with Luigi, go fight bowser. The 121st star will be unlocked for Mario. So have fun achieving it. :) I have very little stars with Luigi, but I found this off the internet. Gamefaqs actually.

Endless Ocean – NintendoWii

January 21, 2008

Endless Ocean [US Title; May vary] is a game will be coming out for the Nintendo Wii January 21, 2008 [US Launch; May vary].

Endless Ocean is a game that is meant to relaxe the player. Unlike other games that involve fighting, stratergy, and so on. You take the role of a diver that dives into a beautiful ocean filled with life. You can take pictures of the animals you find, such as fish, whales, and sharks. The graphics of the game are very well done and make the fish look real. Along with the surroundings. Game Screenshot Here.

If you think the game will get boring after a while, there’s other things you can do. Like sit on the boat deck and look out at the seaand go view the fish you caught in aquariums. Another big plus for the game is that it is WiFi. So, once your Wii is online you can go diving in the water with your friends. You can also plug your MP3 Player into the Wii’s SD Card Slot and create your own background music.
