Gamer Graffix

February 19, 2008

I’ve made a post about Console Skins before. But, those skins were from ConsoleShop.com. These skins are a little different that theres. ConsoleShop skins/faceplates are custom designs. GamerGraffix are skins based off a franchise, or series. They have Halo 3 , Heavenly Sword, Call of Duty 4, Naurto, and other skins. They don’t have many (If any) Wii skins. They mainly have 360 and some PS3.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

February 15, 2008

Well, I’ve been waiting to make this topic for some time now – and today is the day I’ll make it. If you have no idea what the Super Smash Bros, your missing out.

SSB (Super Smash Bros) is a game that can have up to four players. Instead of health, you get a damage counter. You start with 0%. The higher it is, the farther you fly when hit. SSB features multiple Nintendo characters such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, and so on. However, Brawl, will feature more characters. Such as Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. Super Smash Bros (The first) was released for Nintendo64. The sequel, Super Smash Bros Melee, was released for Nintendo GameCube. And now, Super Smash Bros Brawl is coming out. It’s already been released in Japan. It’s current USA release date is March 9th, 2008.

If you want to learn more about SSBB, or find out how the development of the game is going, go to the main Brawl site. Smash Bros Dojo!

P.S. I’ve noticed I haven’t been posted daily lately, I should be able to now. Depends on whether or not I have something to post about.

Blog Changes

February 10, 2008

As you may have noticed, the blog has went through some changes. The main difference is a change in theme. The sidebar is still the same, as well as the banner and my avatar (Banner and Avatar may be changed). I also have an About Page. Which tells you what VGTech Blog is about. I have more pages being worked on currently, but they aren’t viewable. You can’t post in the other pages, either.

My blog’s focus will also lean slightly away from computers to video games. Mainly the Wii, PS3, and 360. But, computer-related blogs can still come up.

More blog updates to come,

Wiimote Jackets

February 9, 2008

A Wiimote Jacket protects your Wiimote from being damanged when dropped.

If you don’t have a Wiimote Jacket, then you can order one from Nintendo. And the best part is: It’s free. You don’t have to pay shipping and handling either (I just ordered me 2 :) ). It’s fairly easy to order as well, you simply put in your Wii’s serial code, select your country, how many you want, and then proceed to shipping information. And then you wait for it to arrive. So, what are you waiting for?
Get your Wiimote Jackets now!
*NOTE: The above link only works for America/Canada, you will have to go to the Nintendo website for where you live to order.*

P.S. Changed the blog’s theme as well as other info for the blog. Hope everyone likes the new look.

Console Skins

February 8, 2008

Ever got bored of the plain look of your console? Want to make it look cooler? Well, you can. There’s some places that allow you to buy faceplates/skins, or stickers. A nice website I found is: consoleshop.

Consoleshop allows you to buy faceplates/skins for multiple consoles (As well as other things). You can buy some for the PlayStation3 (PS3) Xbox360, or Nintendo Wii, as well as many others. Here’s a few Wii ones:
Wii Skin - Dragon's Breath Wii Skin - Blue Giant Wii Skin - Union Jack Wii Skin - Solid State Black Wii Skin - Retro Revolution
For more Wii Skins, click here. For other Wii things, click here.
Here’s some PS3 ones:
PS3 Skin - Sky Camo PS3 Skin - Solar Flare PS3 Skin - Toxic PS3 Skin - Blue Giant PS3 Skin - Desert Ops

Wii Accessories

February 6, 2008

I mentioned Wii Accessories before, but, they were all weapons for First Person Shooters. Today, I’m going to post different accessories that can be used.

Wii Wheel
Wii Racing Wheel
I mentioned the Wii Wheel before while talking about Mario Kart Wii (See Post). The Wii Wheel cost around $10. It will be used for Mario Kart Wii and probably other racing games.

Wii Sports Pack
Wii Sports Pack
If you have a Wii, chances are you have Wii Sports. You can now play Wii Sports with a special kind of controller. The pack includes a tennis racket, baseball bat, and golf club. There’s nothing in it for Bowling and Boxing. It costs around $20 for it all.

Then of course, there’s the Wii Weapons.

Wii Charge Stations

February 5, 2008

If you haven’t already got a Wii Charge Station, you may need to consider getting one.

If you play your Wii, the batteries in the Wiimote will run out eventually, causing you to keep buying batteries. But with the Wii Charge Station, you don’t have to. You simple but it and it includes the Charge Station and two new batteries, and new battery covers. It works for 2 Wiimotes. And the best part is it recharges fairly quickly. The first couple of times it takes a while though.
Wii Charge Station

It costs around $35.

Wii Weapons

February 4, 2008

Yes, there are other ways to play shooters with Nintendo Wii.

 Here’s one, called Wii Zaper.
Nintendo Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow TrainingIt’s called the Wii Zapper and it’s around $25. It includes the thing that holds the Wiimote and Nunchuk, but the Wiimote and Nunchuk aren’t included. It also comes with Link’s Crossbow Training to test out your new accessory.

The next Wii Weapon is:
Wii BlasterThe Wii Blaster. And it looks kind of like a shotgun. Unlike the Wii Zapper, it doesn’t come with any game, but it’s $20. The Wii Zapper is probably a better buy though.

The third Wii Weapon is:
Wii Perfect ShotWii Perfect Shot. It looks like a handgun. It doesn’t include a game and is priced at $15. The Wii Perfect Shot hasn’t been released yet (In the US). It’s release date is February 11, 2008.

That’s it for the Wii Weapons.
